Public Art in Chicago

This Public Art was created for a local artist called Boban Illic. The name of the sculpture is the "Renaissance Man". It is located in a small park at Burton St at the corner of Wells St in Old Town. I live in a condo just in front of the park and on my way to school I usually stop by and pay attention on this amazing figure. What impressed me is it's movement like the man was in a dancing position, and also the impressive metalic material used which shines in the sunny days.

MCA Reflexion

I had a great experience into the Museum. The exibiths are interactive and we could appreciate diferents comtemporary artist styles and approaches. The diversity of materials and interpretation of the lifestyle were very rich and combined our senses to make the audience feels the creation in their total dimension. The museum exhiles comtemporary art mixing sounds, architecture, design, sculpture and painting on the exhibits. Moreover, on the store they offer a variety of comtemporary art objects and housewares with a very creative design. For sure, I will became a member!
